About Me

I am a junior at the University of Michigan earning a bachelor's degree in Program in the Environment with a specialization in conservation biology. I've spent a large proportion of my life sprinting up and down a basketball court and soothing any resulting soreness in the cold brine of the Pacific Ocean. It wasn't until I started to travel though that I developed an unwavering adoration for Earth's many ecosystems. These days, I seek out the best trails to lead me into less-touched lands and the most hidden trees to hang my hammock. My academic pursuits are inspired by my fascination with the various levels in which humans interact with their environments, I hope to incorporate anthropological studies of human behavior into a career in environmental policy, natural resource management and conservation, or urban planning. I complete a (mini) crossword a day and listen to at least one new album a week. Wherever I go, I try to tread lightly with one favorite quote permeating every step.

"Those who want to leave footprints, will never fly."
